@Large yellowbill is conspicuous in the field. Sexes alike. Although the species areresidents in Asakawa River basin, they are not commonly seen. The song is ashort series of fluting whistled notes. Often seen on trees, but forages onthe ground for seeds. Moves in flocks from several birds to several dozen.
