| Arepresentative yellow bird in Asakawa River basin in winter. Smallpopulation breeds in Hokkaido. Our observation records cover the period fromlatter half of November to April next year. Usually in small flocks inmountainous or lowland forests and dry riverbeds. Our observation recordsvary greatly from year to year. Forages small grass seeds in a flock. Alarge flock sometimes amounts to several hundreds. | ||||
