 ass="auto-style2">The species is observed during its migrationfrom late September to beginning of October, when Grey-faced Buzzard alsomigrate to the south, at our observation stations including the one at Mt.Jimba and at Tohyabori Park. On rare occasions, the species is also observedflying above this area.@ Clear white belly and long narrow white wings areobvious.@Lives exclusively on fish, and often seen as the eagle is flyingwith a big fish above seashore and estuaries. According to the Red List ofMinistry of the Environment (2006 Rev.), the species is classified as NT.
