| ass="auto-style2">The species is observed during its migrationfrom late September to beginning of October, when Grey-faced Buzzard alsomigrate to the south, at our observation stations including the one at Mt.Jimba and at Tohyabori Park. On rare occasions, the species is also observedflying above this area. Clear white belly and long narrow white wings areobvious. Lives exclusively on fish, and often seen as the eagle is flyingwith a big fish above seashore and estuaries. According to the Red List ofMinistry of the Environment (2006 Rev.), the species is classified as NT. | ||||
