Commontransient and winter visitor to Asakawa River basin. Up until the beginningof 2000s, flocks of several dozen of this species were recorded in themiddle to lower Asakawa River basin, but almost no recording of recentobservation of the flock since then. In the previous period, we had anobservation record of a flock of summer plumage in May.
